1) Who We Are
Pleasy ("we", "us", "our") operates a platform for property reviews by tenants for tenants. Reviews may also be posted by people who have inspected a property.
2) Information We Collect
A) You provide
- Account details: name, email, password (hashed), and optional profile info.
- Google Sign-In: when you choose "Sign-in with Google" or "Sign-in with LinkedIn", we receive basic profile and verified email from Google or LinkedIn. We do not receive your Google password or LinkedIn password.
- User Content: reviews, ratings, comments, photos, and any data you submit.
- Support: messages you send us (e.g., email).
B) Collected automatically
- Usage & device data: pages viewed, actions (e.g., reading a review), IP address, browser/user agent, approximate location, and cookies or similar technologies.
C) From third parties
- Payment processors: limited payment metadata (e.g., transaction status) when you buy credits or subscriptions; we do not store full card numbers.
- Referral partners: aggregated or event-level data for attribution of referrals.
3) How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service (including personalization and ranking).
- Authenticate users (email/password or Google or LinkedIn) and secure accounts.
- Enable reviews, ratings, paywalled access, credits, and author monetization.
- Process payments and manage billing, credits, and payouts.
- Monitor compliance, prevent fraud/abuse (e.g., paywall circumvention, fake referrals).
- Communicate with you about updates, security, and support.
- Analyze usage to improve renter discovery and platform quality.
4) Legal Bases (where applicable)
We rely on one or more of: performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (e.g., security, improvement), consent (e.g., certain cookies or marketing), and legal obligations.

- Sign-In providers: Google or LinkedIn (only if you choose to sign-in), to authenticate you.

6) Payments, Credits, and Monetization
Payments are processed by third-party processors. We receive limited payment metadata (e.g., success/failed, amount). Authors who qualify for monetization may receive payouts via supported payment partners, subject to identity checks and tax requirements.

We use cookies/local storage for authentication, session management, analytics, preferences, and paywall/credit features. You can control cookies via browser settings; disabling some cookies may break core functionality.
8) Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion; certain data (e.g., transactional records, content required for legitimate interests) may be retained as permitted by law.
