Summary: Pleasy is a platform where tenants and property seekers share and read property reviews. Reviews may also be posted by people who have inspected a property. Review authors are responsible for what they publish. Reading certain content may require credits or a fee, and authors can monetize when eligibility criteria are met.
1) Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pleasy ("Pleasy", "we", "us", "our") and any related services, websites, and applications (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2) Who We Are
Pleasy is a platform for property reviews by tenants for tenants. Our goal is to help renters find their next ideal home by surfacing real experiences and insights.
3) Accounts & Eligibility
- You must create an account and be signed in to write reviews or access paywalled reviews.
- You may sign in using email/password or "Sign-in with Google" or "Sign-in with LinkedIn".
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for maintaining the security of your credentials.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
4) User Content (Reviews)
"User Content" means any review, rating, comment, photo, or other material you submit. You represent and warrant that you own your User Content or have the necessary rights to post it, and that your User Content:
- is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and fairly represents your personal experience as a tenant or an inspector;
- does not include confidential, personal, or identifying information about others without consent;
- does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; and
- complies with applicable laws and these Terms.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. We may (but are not obligated to) review, moderate, remove, or restrict access to any User Content at our discretion.
5) License You Grant to Us
By submitting User Content, you grant Pleasy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, display, reproduce, modify (e.g., formatting, truncation), distribute, and create derivative works of your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving, promoting, and providing the Service.
6) Review Access, Credits, and Paywall
- Some reviews are available only behind a paywall and may require credits or payment to read.
- We may offer free credits or referral credits from time to time; details will appear in-product.
- Payments and credit purchases are handled by third-party processors. Additional terms from those processors may apply.
7) Author Monetization
Review authors may be eligible to monetize their reviews once specific criteria are satisfied (for example, number of referrals, number of reviews shared, engagement thresholds, and other program rules). Program details, eligibility, and payouts may change from time to time and will be described in the author dashboard or program pages. We reserve the right to approve, deny, suspend, or terminate participation for compliance and risk reasons.
8) Acceptable Use
- No harassment, hate speech, illegal activity, doxxing, or impersonation.
- No false, deceptive, or misleading content.
- No scraping, automated data extraction, or reverse engineering.
- No attempts to bypass paywalls, abuse referrals, or manipulate monetization metrics.
9) Property Listings & Accuracy
Information on the Service (including reviews, ratings, addresses, sentiment scores, and counts) is user-generated or derived from user activity. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Reviews reflect personal opinions and experiences of the authors, not those of Pleasy.
10) Intellectual Property
The Service—including trademarks, logos, branding, software, and design—is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service.
11) Third-Party Services (including Google or LinkedIn Sign-In)
We may integrate with third parties (e.g., Google or LinkedIn for sign-in). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
12) Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
13) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pleasy and its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the Service or User Content.
14) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pleasy from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
15) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or our policies.
16) Changes to the Service and Terms
We may change or discontinue the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in New South Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
